Blissful Weekend Reflections

"Don'tcha wish your girlfriend was hot like me?"
 Hello everyone~

I hope your weekend was a smashing one! I had such an eventful Saturday! First I attended a transgender picnic up in northern Atlanta, getting to socialize with some of the wider community for the very first time. And barring the onslaught of intrusive (read: biting) ants and other insects, it was a grand ol' time! I definitely shouldn't have worn my platform boots, though; next time I'll have to remember to prioritize functional sitting ability over loud fashion expression.

Afterwards I attended a bisexual women's group, replete with a fancy and filling dinner as well as red wine - obviously the most important part of course. I made so many new friends and got along great with everyone, they were such a chill and welcoming bunch! I feel like this has been a significant milestone in my journey as a trans woman; this was very specifically a women-only event, and I was welcomed without question. It's so validating!! I can't wait to see where else my journey takes me!

I also spent the entire day in a crop top and short-shorts, seen here in the attached picture. All my life I've never dressed so scantily, but boy did it feel invigorating. I felt empowered and sexy, which is such a new sensation for me. I was fierce and unstoppable, and this is only the beginning. I've also started putting thought into HRT, and what that might look like for my trans journey. I don't see myself getting bottom surgery, at least for the time being, but boobs would be delightful. Wider hips too, maybe? I heard that estrogen does that.

After work today I'll be off on both Tuesday and Wednesday. The sky's the limit, man! <3 And now's the part where I ask you, my readers, something: what local events do you most look forward to each year? Or even better, each month? If you're the socializing type, how best do you go about meeting new and interesting people? Let me know in the comments section! Take care, lovelies~~
