Happy Pre-4th Morning!

Hello, lovelies~ It's a beautiful July morning today, though the sun could certainly stand to take it down a few notches! So far today I've spent about an hour tidying up the kitchen, enjoying the calm before the inevitable holiday madness that awaits me at work. What do you all like to do in order to make housecleaning go by faster or feel more fun? For me, I always like to put on 1920's music in the background while I do chores around the house; I feel like it adds a quaint charm to otherwise mundane jobs, almost like I'm being transported to a fantastical ideal of a simpler time, except in MY version, I can still vote. 🙂 

 Right around noon I'll have to change into my male identity before driving out to work. Being halfway in the closet is bad enough as it is, but on patriotic holidays such as these, presenting the way I really want to in public - especially down here in the south - could be particularly dangerous. For now though, I'm sitting comfortably in my wig and favorite white dress - one which has pockets, no less! 😃 I lucked out when I found it at Ross, months ago. It was love at first sight!
